CrossFit is a strength & conditioning program that combines cardio, weightlifting, & gymnastics. CrossFit is intended to be functional so the movements you learn and master can be used outside the gym, too. At Blackbeard, all workouts can be modified for any ability. We offer a different workout every day and review and assist with every movement used in each workout. Our classes are an hour-long. We provide a supportive and encouraging atmosphere to help you reach your goals: whether that’s to lose weight, find the time to workout twice a week, excel in boot camp, or compete in the CrossFit Games.

Great question! We review all the movements you need to know for every single class, every single day. We won’t charge you to learn everything about CrossFit in a one-week course because we don’t expect you to learn everything in just one week. Your education and learning is ongoing, and so is our commitment to coaching you!
